White female looks like a pitty but could be American bulldog with a light brown patch over her right eye

She's sweet and well behaved. I will not call animal control but if I can't find the owner I will find a rescue that will take her. If I don't answer my phone please leave a message and I'll get back to you.

Betty Cleveland I've taken the steps on that. I had her chip scanned and no owner information was available. I'll be contacting the chip company to see if they have any other kind of information on her. She's safe and being loved on.

Please take it to a local vet or someplace like Pet Supermarket and have a scan for a microchip. Thank you for keeping this beautiful dog safe.

Matthew T. Kines you can call Petlink today. No need to wait til tomorrow. They have people on duty 24/7. Please ask them where the chip was sold to. That can lead to a vet office, shelter or rescue (that would want their dog back). Please know that she cannot be rehomed, surrendered or given away for 30 days, after the date of the found report. She also cannot be vaccinated or given any tests until after those 30 days are over either.

Debbie Grey Thank you for your input. I will definitely not use VIP rescue. I did have her checked for a microchip and she has one but no owner information. I'll be calling Pet Link in the morning to see if they have any other information about her. I'll be keeping her until I can find a safe place for her.

Reputable rescues don't take strays. An owner wouldn't know to check one of the thousands of rescues in the state. They check the local shelter. If a Reputable rescue wants to pull the dog, they can legally do so from the shelter, and not have to wait the 30 day stray hold. If you're hellbent on trying to find a rescue, at least dont use VIP Rescue. She is banned by the shelter and on a do not adopt list. Can you at least get it checked for a microchip? And call 407-836-3111, press # to file the found dog report,as required by county law.
