Leave some of your unwashed clothing and his bed outside near where he escaped for him to smell home. Also, if you can, please leave a door or window cracked open near where he escaped from, so that he has a way to return home. Cats usually attempt to return home during the night/early morning hours, but it may take a few nights. Start doing this tonight if you can and leave some food out inside the home to lure him inside(keep any other pets secure in a separate room). Don’t give up.
Post on NextDoor.
Notify Pasadena Humane Society and check w/ Baldwin Park shelter, too- leave flyers there and at vet offices.
Post signs around the neighborhood for those not on social media.
Notify microchip company that he is missing and update contact info if necessary.
He’s probably hiding nearby - check under cars, shrubs, crawl spaces and up in trees and rooftops, in case he was chased. Have neighbors check garages/sheds.
If you see him, he may be too scared to come over to you, so have tuna, Churu paste cat treats and even a wand-type toy to help lure him over to you.
Best wishes.
