MESSAGE FROM OWNER

Ike is a very friendly kitty. She’s gotten me through some of the worst times of my life. She’s VERY vocal and we talk to each other all the time. I just got into a really horrible car mishap and she’s been comforting me since. Not having her around after losing so much has proven to be pretty difficult. I really want her and I am so worried about her.

DESCRIPTION

Grey and white long haired cat. Very vocal and friendly. Has never been outside before. Does not have a collar on.

Ike is a handsome kitty. Praying he is safe and comes home soon! I know this is a lot of info, but they truly are all helpful tips…. Please look very closely around the outside of your house or apartment. They seldom go far and will often hide close by. Open a can of smelly tuna. If he hungry, it may lure him out. It is very stressful when your fur baby goes missing... -Go outside immediately and look around the house or apartment very carefully. Many times they do not go far and will watch you look for them! -Please put your furbaby's bed and a piece of your clothing outside. They have an amazing sense of smell. Recent information indicates, that you should not put out your kitty’s cat box outside. It can/will attract predators, such as coyotes and could force your kitty to move farther away from home. -Put up flyers up on gang mailboxes in your neighborhood and adjacent neighborhoods. More eyes to help you find your baby! If they see him/her, they will know how to contact you. -Take the flyer to your neighbors. -Go door to door. Many times, once a neighbor has seen a picture, they will be on the lookout. -Ask your neighbors if you can look in their yard, in their garages, in window wells, under bushes, up in trees, on roofs. - Go out every night with a flashlight searching to see his/her eyes. They can be hiding anywhere. -Listen carefully for a meow. S/he has probably not gone far, but time is of the essence before S/he does leave the area or a predator finds your baby. -S/he could be very close by, stuck or just hiding. Even if you don't find him/her soon don't give up! -Cats are amazing survivors, they can hide or wander around for a long time. If they are fearful of people, it can take a while for people to catch them and take them to the Humane Society or a vet to scan for a chip. S/he is probably hunkering down right now. -Put your furbaby on PawBoost. -File a lost report with the Humane Society. -Check with the Humane Society every day. -Go down to the Humane Society to look in person. Sometimes they may have incorrect info. -Don’t give up and keep the faith! -Prayers and good thoughts going your way!!!
