Please give us a try it works for indoors and outdoor cats I used to work TNR and with a variety of cat shelters and this worked after my shy cat got out for 3 weeks. Get humane trap from home Depot or from a shelter. Place it close to the house or bushes and cover it with towel use tuna fish because cats can smell tuna fish from over a block away. Cats have a very small roaming range usually three to four houses however they are incredible hiders. They usually come out at dusk when they feel safer. The places in the late afternoon or early evening before dark of course if you catch another cat or animal just release it and set it up again for the next evening

Getting a humane trap is very important part of finding a lost cat. The cats are typically close by but hiding and scared to come around. Set up a trap baited with smelly food outside the exit where he escaped. You can borrow a humane trap from a shelter like Hermitage or Pacc and they will show you how to use it. But never leave a trap unattended or set in extreme heat! Keep searching tho on foot under between behind and inside all areas around your property and your neighbors with a flashlight to reflect eyes and a treat bag to shake. Don't give up, be positive and proactive!

Be careful of scammers targeting lost and found pages never give money up front to anyone who says they have your cat or can find him or pressure you to buy a device or Drone service and never agree to meet anyone alone. They now even use AI images of supposedly your cat, even posing as vet clinics or animal control agencies. No valid lead or agency requires money up front.
