Triangular face, pointy face, with a straight nose to the point of her triangular face, distinguishing her from other cats. Pretty big white tuft of hair on her chest, not a small white tuft. She was only 4 months, and now a year old, but I don't care. Misty Gal is mine. The pets get found on Staten Island not like other boroughs, and Misty Gal did get found and is in wrongful custody of the pet finder of PAWBOOST ID # 71020526 the cat found on Katan Ave., but he won't give her back unless I give him $300. I reported him to dispute@pawboost.com but I still look for Misty Gal just in case he released he and follow up all leads so call me Duke Messina (646) 973-8912. For a full Misty Gal experience view her videos and channel on YouTube. https://youtu.be/Dbs7CwT1IXQ?si=DUfjV1-BqPK-X8zv

🐱🐾Hi. keep trying. I work at a vet. Please read to the end, the best tips are at the end. Put a can of Tuna outside at the spot she got out. Be careful to keep it in its can, and always clean it up afterwards, refresh this periodically. It’s the best way to attract your cat back. She may have gotten lost or gone off somewhere. Cats lose their scent path in the rain. Keep her Indoors if you find her. You can buy ten cans for $10 dollars at a dollar store, sardines work too. Cats will stick around the area, but may be nervous or frightened, so they won’t come out of hiding. Even if they know you. But they will HEAR you, and will come out later when all is quiet. Try leaving a door open so she comes in on her own. Keep refreshing the food every day or two. The cat should show up. It may take a few weeks. Also, they can leave house lights on at night, and they should put out used, dirty cat litter, and cat bedding. Get a good flashlight, and look around way up underneath porches, behind shrubs, because cats will hide up underneath things. A flashlight will show up glowing eyes. Have your neighbors check garages and outbuilding. She may be locked in. Walk up and down the area, while SHAKING a plastic jar of dry cat food. Cats HEAR this from a distance. She can be humanely trapped, for rescue, too if necessary. Leave your house lights on at night. Tell neighbors and neighborhood kids. Make copies and stuff in peoples mail boxes. Put “REWARD” on safe return, on your posters, with a black sharpie. Protect it with a clear slip sheet, around your neighborhood, and in nearby stores. And don’t worry about rewards, people are nice about it. Stay Strong. 🐱🐾. Put the posters up on each street you mentioned in plain view. Report it in detail to veterinarians, police and your local animal control office. People may call them if she’s sighted. I’ve found many MA cats in my state, so please try everything on my comments. Do this as soon as you can. Never give up. It will take a while. A lot of folks don’t have facebook, and wont look on pawboost, although some will. So be sure to put Reward posters

Hire a pet tracker ASAP - See below Leave sardines and also something from the cat like a blanket and/or litter box outside the door. Use a flashlight at night, dusk or dawn to see the shiny cat’s eyes. Sometimes people keep cats without looking for the owner. Go door to door, including in apartments and other neighborhood houses and buildings.Talk to apartment supers. Put signs on every door and talk to everyone. Put up Large eye-catching color cardboard poster signs with a large picture of your cat and big writing at intersections. Sometimes cats can seek shelter in bats and garages then get trapped inside. Cats hide in silence and hide very well so supers and home owners may not even know they are there. Cats may respond if you meow to them, but may not respond by calling their name because they are scared and instinctively will stay silent. Additionally, post on neighborhood social media pages. Did you try the kitty litter trick? Take some litter from their box and sprinkle outside leading to your door then call them constantly especially at dawn and dusk and when it's quiet. Kitty will follow its scent and your voice home. It's no doubt scared and hiding. You can also try a stinky can of sardines! Or if kitty is a cuddler, try putting an article of your clothing by your door. And put out a large bowl of water! Also check area garages, under car hoods, shelters, Nextdoor and Pawboost for found kitties in and near your zip. Don’t give up. And post flyers around your neighborhood. Good luck!
