Leave some of your laundry outside your home to help him find his way home by scent. Also leave a door, lower window, garage door cracked open enough for him to find a way back into the home. They normally try to get back inside the same way they got out. If he is scared, he may be moving at night when it is quieter and looking for a way back inside. Go back to your old home and let the new tenants know what happened and make sure they have all your contact info. Cats will travel for months to get back to their old home where they are familiar. Baldo Frank Baltimore Cuellar they can slip out so fast!! I have 18 and a couple head to the door when I go out to feed other cats. The one that got out and found her way home. She was very hungry but wants out again now.

Vanessa Scaduto Wanted to say the same thing. When I was kid, we moved from town out to the country, and my cat went back to our old house three times. It was only a few miles, but she had to cross a river to get there. She eventually stayed at the new home.
