"“Melanio Story” Melanio is a humble, friendly, and good heart cat that came into our lives in 2016. Melanio used to live two doors from our hse. His original owner sadly was killed. He started to walk among the hses. My husband started to feed him until we fell in love with this lovely cat. We named him “Melanio” because he has beautiful eyes like the former First Lady, Melania. On June 16th, he was caught by Collier County Domestic Animal Services. I claimed him on June 18th, 2022. He was supposed to be neutered. On August 2nd, DAS claimed he escaped around June 24th. Please help us to find him. We are so devasted. 😔😔😔"

Marcy Perry needs to be removed from Collier County DAS!!! After a meeting with her this afternoon, she states she doesn’t know why her staff lied about the disappearance of Melanio since June 24th, they lied all the way until today. She has no control of the place and animals are dying while living in inhumane conditions. Please help us to let Collier County officials about this woman’s ignorance, ineptitude and cold heart towards animals. An animal is better on the streets that under her staff’s supervision.
