My cat Yoshi is missing, and I’m asking everyone to please keep an eye out for her. She is a brown, black, and gray tabby wearing a pink collar. She unexpectedly got outside sometime today while I was at work and has been missing since. Yoshi is very loved and has been an indoor cat for the last 3 years. She may be scared and hiding nearby, so please check under porches, bushes, stairwells, parked cars, or anywhere a frightened cat might hide. Cami Lambi If you haven't already, put up flyers everywhere as many people aren't on social media. Give flyers to every vet clinic, rescue, and shelter in the area in case she turns up. Having her picture in their hands helps keep her at the forefront of their minds. Ask your neighbors to check their cameras, garages, sheds, and crawlspaces. Look up in trees in case she was chased. Walk the neighborhood in the wee hours with a flashlight and look for glowing eyes. Call her in a regular voice (not panicked) and gently shake a treat bag if she likes that kind of stuff. She's probably hunkered down and hiding nearby, but she may not answer you when you call - that's just instinctual, as a vocal cat gives away their location to predators. Put her beds/ blankets and some of your dirty clothes on your porches and around the perimeter of your yard. When she comes home, please get her microchipped and be sure to register the chip online.
