TimothyandTracey Summerford The dog was taken to the vet, the dog has a chip, and the vet called the owner, but the finder, gave the vet a fake phone number. So...what is that about? You guys rush to judgement without knowing what is going on.

TimothyandTracey Summerford He did not do that sober. Not an excuse but the guy who has the dog now, is refusing to give it back to the rightful owner, the gf of the guy who did the stupid stuff. He also apologized and took public accountability for his stupid behavior, which is more than so many men I know would do. The GIRLFRIEND of this man, if she still is, wants her dog back. I gave the finder her phone number, but this man who took the dog is playing house with him, and doesn't want to give him back to her, all the while saying he doesn't want the dog. So, you tell me...

Susan Shipp Maybe there’s more to this than I’m understanding. However I’m sorry but, I have to disagree with you. Safely surrendering an animal to a shelter I can consider a mistake. Abandoning a living being in unsafe conditions is not a mistake. Letting the dog go in the street is not a mistake. That is a character flaw, that in my opinion, is irredeemable.

Why on Earth would you even think about finding this man 🤦🏼‍♀️ this baby needs to stay far away from this take him to a rescue so he can find a new family i’m sure there are some in your area. Please stay away from Humane Society.

Please take the dog to be scanned if there is a microchip I will look it up and we can research the owner. Could have stolen the dog.
