When I moved, I couldn’t find one of my cats for three days and thought it had gotten out somehow, but it had been hiding inside the back of my love seat the whole time! It was scared because of the unfamiliar surroundings. This could be what happened. As tiny as it is, it could easily be hiding anywhere.
