NextDoor app is your best chance as covers your area. Be sure to check your local animal shelter in person at least every other day (can’t stress enough - in person!!! You know your pet plus shelter workers are super busy and can’t keep up). Follow your pets routine, as weird as it might sound, as this sometimes help. Create a scent station with items that have your smell, your cat’s smell. Bedding, clothing, cat tower, etc. Do NOT put out its litter pan as feces are often used to mark territory. You may inadvertently attract predators or territorial cats. Check in and under everything with a flashlight. Cats don’t go far and freeze in a tight ball in very small areas when scared. But they stare which is where the flashlight comes in handy as it catches their eyes, especially at night. Leave the garage door open 5” overnight.
