MESSAGE FROM OWNER

I'm still looking for my lost cat chum . Very large, 13 year old, 14 pounds, all black, nuetured male, one white whisker on right ride of his face, green eyes. He has been missing since august 27th . 10 days after the birth of our son. He is microchipped. He is extremely friendly and likes to be held . My 4 year old and I are missing him. We pray together every day he comes and have a prayer candle burning since he went missing. He is predominantly an inside cat but goes outside and uses the bathroom with his best friend, our siberian husky. He sunbathes in the yard and hangs out with the dog and chickens but always comes back inside. As a matter of fact, he will scratch at the door when he wants back in . He is extremely spoiled and well loved . If anyone finds a cat, please take them to any vet office, and they will scan for a microchip or contact animal services, and they will do the same . I responded to a post about a dead black cat on 49st out front of the old biff burger . I went and got the cat and brought it to gulfport vet . It was microchipped, and his remains were returned to his owner, who also had small children and were missing him . I'm glad I was able to bring that family closure. I'm not giving up hope. He went missing from 58st and 42nd ave north st pete.

DESCRIPTION

13 year old, Male, Large 14lb, all black with some gray hairs, green eyes, neutered, microchipped, answers to chum or kitty, will let you pick him up and cradle him like a baby. He always looks mad but he is the sweetest.

It took over three months to find our lost cat at Animal Control twenty-five years ago. He lost almost half of his weight. He was very dirty, and acted like a feral cat. Keep checking the shelters, and don’t give up! It might take a very long time. If you have a restaurant nearby, check the dumpster. And don’t forget to talk to the ‘cat mommas’ and ‘cat daddies’ in your neighborhood. Most cats travel a radius of about two or three houses away, although it could be much farther. She’s likely to be just a few houses away. Put her uncleaned litter box outside, and some canned cat food outside. Perhaps you have some sweaty clothing you could leave outside. The smell should guide her home. Go outside about 2 a.m. or 3 a.m., and calmly call for him.
