Oh dear, I hope you get her safely home really soon. And when you do, please get her as soon as you possibly can into CSnip or your vet as she will most likely be pregnant, given you said she’s in heat and escaped your home. Prepare for a litter unless you can get her spayed, immediately. Try placing live humane trap just outside your home, with wet canned cat food (or tuna) and continuously monitor the trap, to lure her to safety and home ***Never ever leave a live trap at out overnight***

I’m sure I saw your cat either Saturday or Sunday. It ran between my neighbors houses. It was a small black cat.

Cats typically stay close to home. Go out when it's quiet and take a flashlight and a favorite toy or treat to shake when calling for them. Be prepared to crawl into a space to get them. Cats can become disoriented and you will need to go get them. Check crawl spaces with a flashlight. I had one that was disoriented that the flashlight caught the top of his ears. I had to crawl in and get him. I've found him in a bush another time. The flashlight caught the reflection of his eyes. I had to literally crawl into places for one of mine. The vet told me it's because they are territorial animals and can become disoriented. Put up flyers and ask neighbors if you might be allowed to look around for your pet. I have found mine under my home twice, once under a low deck, in bushes and even under a neighbor's car in their yard.
