Long-Hair Black Cat - Very Friendly (I think it lives outside)

Hi everyone, there is a long-haired black cat that sometimes appears behind my hse. I haven’t seen them this weekend and it’s been really hot, so I just was wondering if anybody knew them (or their owner) and could tell me if they’re doing alright.It’s usually every couple days that I see them them. Sometimes I call and they’ll hop over the fence but not this time. I’m hoping they’re an indoor/outdoor cat and that their owners kept them inside this week. I posted this in Next Door, but they said to post here. Its not my cat, I just want to know if they're okay since they seem to live outside.

Usually in the evening, they would bounce around between my backyard and the yard behind me. Sometimes it would be by chance but a couple times I would call and they would pop over, just not lately which has me worried. They're very talkative and friendly. After we met the first time, they'd let me feed and pet them. The last time I saw them was very late June.

Hi there, could you tell me when you started seeing this cat? My roommates cat that looks like this got out last month and hasn’t been found. His name is Sage and he is an indoor cat, we live over off of of Newtown by the Grand Mart.
