Mary McCorduck we seen a partial picture. Not sure if the full thing was gated. I just hate ppl making assumptions from one pic. Not everyone lives in a house where they have all that space. They could've been doing something for a moment and hooked the chain. I just hope they find their dog.

You notice the owner does not have his/her name posted here. This person doesn't want anyone to know who they are because of how this dog is being treated as shown in this post. This dog is being neglected and should not be returned to it's owner. There is a new person in Oneida County for animal abuse. She should be contacted about this dog. Do not give this dog back to it's owner!!😡

If you get this dog back. You need to make some SERIOUS changes and more education on animal husbandry!! The best thing to do is surrender the dog and not get another one until you can provide a well manicured yard, no chain let alone a heavy one, no large clip, a properly fitted collar, proper nutrition, vetting, when not inside cuddling on the couch, the dog needs to be able to get out of any rain or sun, and fresh daily water. This picture screams neglect. Do better!!
