Please be so very diligent about who claims this baby. There are wackos and others out there who scour the streets, social media and the Internet looking for free or found animals for dog bait and other terrible reasons. They act like loving, caring owners until they get them in the car. Please, please ask for proof of ownership, and to identify a marking or collar not visible in the photo. Tell them you'll meet them at their established vet after the dog has been checked for a microchip. Any vet will do that for free and locate the owner. Please don't take him/her to the Franklin County Dog Shelter. That place is awful, and has a very high rate. 🥺
