Post also on lost and found Hampton Roads. Lots of eyes on this site. Cats do not roam like dogs. They are usually in a 5 to 7 house radius. But the are so scared they go into a protective mode and must be lured out. So call him alot and start doing the following things as soon as you can. Place his litterbox and some smelly wet food such as tuna fish outside. If you have a garage leave door cracked and place food and water inside. Check with your neighbors and ask them to check their garages and sheds etc.. Check yours also a favorite place is under houses. Check with any veterinary clinics in area also. Late at night walk and call him shake a bagel if treats or some food or a favorite toy. Use your flashlight to check in storm drains shrubs,any Place a cat can hide. Also don't forget up trees. When you call him make sure to listen for him to call back. Fliers are crucial post them all over. Make a report with your shelter and then check Back every couple if days always in person. Never Call! I hope your baby's home soon! Please keep me posted.
