I also suggest posting on Lostmydoggie.com and on Nextdoor.com for your neighborhood for wider publicity/exposure. Walk around the neighborhood with a picture/flier in hand, and do knock on all neighbors' doors to see if anyone has seen your dog. If they will let you, ask to see the garage and backyard. Take treats with you and call the dog's name. Dogs have much keener hearing than humans, and your dog might be closer than you think. As someone else suggested, notify the microchip company to ensure that your current contact information is on file. Check at all local veterinary hospitals and shelters. Sometimes, someone will find a dog or cat, think it was abandoned, and surrender it there. Good luck. It must be heartbreaking to have to go through this. It would for me. Sharing now.
