Ask neighbors to check their garages, sheds, and bats, they can get trapped in them sometimes, get their permission to look under their porches and decks, under and behind their sheds, use a flashlight to look and to help you see the reflective glow of the cat's eyes. Ask neighbors and nearby businesses to look on their surveillance, security, and doorbell, camera's video for your cat. Do nighttime searches for your cat, with a flashlight and a bag of cat treats, land a carrier, look under vehicles, under porches and decks, in bushes,up trees,on fences,at their base on the ground, in between and behind buildings, near garbage bins, Shine light on rooftops,on upper level decks,on windowsills,on fire escapes,in service alleys,in alleyways, in all these places, use the light to expose the eye shine, or reflective glow of the cat's eyes, Calmly call the cat's name, don't yell, or do the repeated cat call (here kitty-kitty‼️), then shake the treat bag, try not to do both at the same time,it's loud, and can scare the cat . Do these actions throughout the block, then neighborhood where the cat is lost every night after sunset then again late night to right before dawn 11 pm-4. Put up flyers in the neighborhood where the cat is lost, Pawboost Petcolovelost,24Petconnect, LostMyKitty offer free flyers for download, this one is on Canva.com

Ask neighbors if she may be trapped in their garage or shed, and check on other nearby streets, calling out to her or making a familiar sound. I hope she is found soon🙏🏻

General Information: Indoor cats are usually close to home. Check any and all hiding places in your home - closets, under side of mattress. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.

This cat was just lost today? I have seen a cat that looks like her around my house, but that cat has been hanging around for a few weeks, so if she truly had only been missing since May 9th, it isn't her.

Lost Cats‼️ Indoor only cats and limited outdoor access cats never go far. They go into survival mode and hide in silence. Most of them will not respond when they are in survival mode. 3 AM is the best time to find a missing indoor only cat. This is the time they become most active and responsive. Sit and quietly call for your kitty. Try to stay low, standing is intimidating to cats. Place some dirty socks and pillow cases outside. Your scent will attract your kitty. If you have a garage, place the items near the garage door and crack the door enough for her to get in. DO NOT leave food or litter box outside, it can attract predators and aggressive Tom cats. Because indoor only cats hide so well they are not as likely to be ed by a predator. Don't give up, it can me n take months to find a missing indoor only cat. Use a flashlight as late at night as you can to look in trees, under cars and in bushes. Try to look for the glow of her eyes. The best chance of you being reunited with your cat is to do a methodical search of the area. Most indoor only cats will be within 160 feet of your home. Survival mode lasts 5 to 14 days but can last longer. Once their hunger gets to a maximum theyqq snap out of it but this is a dangerous time because they come out of hiding. The majority of cats will try to make a break for home on the 5th night. In addition to posted flyers, make mini flyers and hand them out to your neighbors. Some people don't pay attention to posted flyers. It's VERY VERY important that you look for her as late at night as you can. If you have other cats, watch them. If they are spending a lot of time looking out a certain window, that’s a good indication the missing cat is in that area. Wildlife and motion activated cameras are also helpful. a lot of people are successful trapping their indoor only cats. If you decide to trap, you must watch the trap closely, predators can a cat in a trap.
