MESSAGE FROM OWNER

She is not lost but was catnapped either from our backyard or just outside of our fence. She wears a harness with 2 straps and 2 non-breakaway clasps that has her tags and tracker on it. This harness was found tossed in the bushes just outside our fence completely in tact with both clasps open. It has never slipped off before in the 3 years we’ve been using it. I was Belly’s 5th in her first 3 years of life. It took her several years to trust me. She has had so much fear and stress her in life already, please return her to the only she’s ever got the chance to experience. I need her and she needs me. Willing to pay a cash reward for her safe return.

DESCRIPTION

She is grey and white long haired Maine Coon mix with green eyes. She has a lot to say and she will be heard so she’s VERY loud.

Christine Vella Barr I so, SO appreciate that. I’m eternally grateful to everyone who’s come to my defense on this. People who don’t have indoor/outdoor cats just don’t get it. I expected to get a lot of backlash for it so I don’t take it to heart. I know I did everything I could to keep her an indoor cat and then when I finally accepted that she was going to find a way out whether I liked it or not, I made it as safe as possible. If she truly is gone then I can find a way to heartbrokenly live with that because I know it made her happy. But I know a coyote didn’t get her so I won’t stop until she comes back home. Whoever took her is probably finding out that she’s a spoiled rotten, GIANT pain in the ass so I assume whoever has her won’t keep her. It took her two years to warm up to me and trust me. She’s not going to accept captivity from strangers.

Aubrey Couturier you're so very welcome! And i get that entirely!! I have 5 cats, one was an outdoor homeless adult that i rescued, the other 4 i raised inside from kittens. But former homeless girl and her new buddy, my "strictly indoors only" cat wait at the door and MEOWWWWWWW relentlessly, and only stop to run back to me and nudge me, over and over going back and forth to the door. I had to give in, they AND ME were miserable. They are naturally instinctive wild at heart- its in their DNA, meaning they lived outdoors at one time and want to be there. I actually feel bad like I'm a jailer to my other cats! Fortunately, i do not live on a normal suburban street so they hang out in my yard and don't venture far. Yes, they are more at risk for something to happen and end their life sooner, but we don't lock up our kids, or ourselves- life is risky, but it's also more fulfilling and enjoyable when we do venture out into the world. Our so called domesticated cats feel that too. My opinion. Praying she is returned to you soon. 💓🙏
