Message from Owner

Hi! We have a missing cat. Her name is Mittens, she is mostly gray and black, with white paws. She was last seen on Thursday morning outside near our hse on Meridian Avenue. She usually returns after being outside for a bit, but with all the fireworks going off the past few days, they may have scared her away. $500 reward for anyone that finds her and brings her home! We would greatly appreciate it! We, along with our dogs, miss her so much.

Leave an unlaundered article of your clothing and or a pair of your shoes outside. Leaving your scent. 🍀

I was in the same position almost a month ago. I am so, so sorry. I know how awful it is. I'm a 5 minute drive from the park you mentioned. I'll start leaving wet cat food on the porch and start checking the ring cam 💜 I also have two outdoor cat houses and so does a neighbor. There's people around you who care so don't lose hope!

***POST NEXTDOOR Check ✔️ Humane Society, Animal Shelters In-Person DAILY. Some Keep Pets 5 Days then put up for Adoption. Boots on the ground - Walk ur neighborhood check window wells, under decks, inside bushes, sheds, garages, dumpsters, under staircases. Indoor Cats don't go far, usually close by. Others hide during the day and roam @ night when it's quiet. Shake bag of cat food or treats, walking, calling by name, saying are u hungry, Bring a flashlight, search day & night. Knock on doors. Post Flyer's on neighbor's doors

Ask your local mailman if they've seen your kitty or if they can keep an eye out.

Call and visit your shelters and pounds. Someone could have picked your baby up. Also they can note that your kitty is missing and if she is turned in they will call you. It also doesn't hurt to call them often just in case.
