I lived off of Marlane and heard the distinct bird sound, went outside and parrot flying around, true story. I tried to get him to come to me but he wouldn't. I finally thought that what he would be used to, it was a silver bowl with food or water, he finally came down to me. Found his owner and kept him safe from my cat! But seriously they are familiar with theses things and will come to you, just passing the word if anyone sees him. Wish you the best on finding him.
