Attention, everyone! Dog up for ADOPTION. On the morning of August 12th, a young female dog wandered into the yard of the hse where I am staying while on vacay in Norway, SC. ​​She was emaciated and hungry, and her left paw was hurting. She was calm, trusting, and very friendly. I took care of her, gave her food and water, bathed her with flea shampoo (she had a few fleas), and took her to the vet to check for a microchip. Unfortunately, she doesn't have one. I posted on Facebook looking for her owner, but sadly, no one has come forward. I also found a Facebook post from eight days ago featuring her photo and a report that she was wandering in Springfield, SC. ​​That’s 18 miles away from me, so I don’t know if she walked that far on her own or if something else happened. She is very smart, trusting, and friendly—not aggressive at all—learns new things quickly, and is truly wonderful ❤️. I dewormed her today, and she is currently safe with me Unfortunately, she cannot stay with me permanently; I’m not young anymore, I have four dogs of my own, and I live in Florida. Before I leave, I need to find her a loving, safe, forever home. I’m begging everyone: please share this post! P.S. The vet warned me about scammers who claim they want to adopt a dog but actually take them to train for dog fighting!
