Inside cats that get outside don't usually go far. He's probably scared and hiding nearby. Check under nearby porches, decks, shrubs and in garages and sheds. Best times to search and call for him are at dusk and dawn. Put his food, water, canned tuna and something with his scent on it outside your door to help him find his way back. Let your neighbors and mail carrier know that he's missing so they can be on the lookout for him. Put flyers up in the area and include a reward if possible. Keep checking Toledo Humane Society Facebook page because they post pictures of lost/stray cats that are found and brought there. Sharing and praying for him to be home soon.

Make simple neon posters and post them in your yard, stores closes to you, and the busiest intersection if allowed and use the back window of your vehicle as a moving billboard/poster good luck and God bless 🐾🙏🐾

Sit something out with your scent(dirty laundry or bedding) or your cat scent by the area they escape from and check frequently if possible leave window/door open, or if you have a baby monitor sit by the area. Best time to look would be from dusk to Dawn, cat is going to be scared, If indoor only cat, they are usually very close or a few houses away, they're going to wait till it's quiet to move about, they might not even meow, so take a flashlight out to look for glowing eyes and a CALMLY VOICE(they will pick up tension/ panic in your voice) (whatever you do at home to get them to come to you do that outside , recorded it if you have too and play it outside) check under sheds, decks, bushes, roof tops and trees ask neighbors to check their security cameras, sheds, garages, and/or ask for permission to check their property. Indoor cats will most likely be on your property or two houses away If you have other pets, a dog may be able to sniff out the cat, and if you have another cat, put that cat in the carrier then take outside and sit the carrier on step/porch while you walk around your property. They may be in fight or flight mode and may need to be trapped. good luck and God bless 🐾🙏🐾
