Message from Owner

Donnie is my dogs best friend and I can already see the toll it has taken on him to not have Donnie around. I hate to know he's been out there with this rain. I just want to bring my boy home.

Hi! I saw a larger sized black cat crossing Trenton Ave around 6PM this evening (Saturday 6/27). I was driving - he was going up Susquehanna towards Frankford. I was driving and saw as he crossed Trenton. Not sure if it was Donnie, but I didn’t recognize this cat from any of the other street cats. Hope this helps

Please come to ACCT Philly and do a walk through and file a lost cat report. 111 w Hunting Park Ave. 10-6 daily If the cat does not have a chip or tags you should do a walk through every day as there is no stray holds on cats.

Rent or borrow a humane trap. The SPCA and other animal shelters rent them out for $100. When you return the trap you get your $100 back. Place the trap near where the cat escaped. Put some of the cat's favorite food and treats inside of the trap along with an article of your clothing with your scent on it. This method worked for me on two different occasions. If you trap the wrong cat or some other animal, put a blanket over the trap leaving the door exposed. Stand behind the trap and release the animal. Reset the trap. Time is of the essence so do this asap. Good luck and God bless.

Check trees🙏 especially after a storm or heavy rain. Many go up high to be safe

Sharing your post. Meanwhile, know he is likely not far. He would probably look for the nearest safe/protected spot he could find.
