Where are they? I will try to get them. I volunteer at the shelter and foster Glenda through them .

Report the dogs found to all area vet offices, scan for a microchip at any vet/ER vet office. Report the dog found to the local county shelter - often can be done online. They may ask you to foster while the dog is advertised as found giving time for the owner to come forward. If the owner does not come forward and the stray hold is up, then the dog can be legally adopted through the shelter. If you can’t foster for the shelter, ask them about your options for the dog. Post FOUND DOG signs at intersections, along the street and adjacent streets, subdivision entrances. Do not adopt or giveaway a just found dog/pet, it is illegal to do so. Go through the shelter. If someone claims they are the owner, require proof, vet records, pictures etc. (I am the moderator for Port St lucie PawBoost, your post has been shared there.)
