She had water and a snack which she gobbled down. I tried to let her lead me home, but she just follows me around wherever I go. i gave her a nice cool bath in the hose, but then got concerned because she was getting really hot outside. made the judgment call to let her inside, where she is nice and cool. Haven't heard anything from any of my posts yet, though

Please offer water if possible and cool air . Many lost pets outside have had heat strokes the past few days

Found Pet Tips: Please make a found report on this website: IndyLostPetAlert.com Also, please post to the NextDoor app , Pawboost.com & Neighbors RING app, and any social media community/ township pages in your area. You can take the pet to any local vet/24 hr animal hospital, to have scanned for a microchip at no cost. Please require *multiple* photos as proof of ownership & vet records if claimed, to ensure the pet goes home to their legal owners💕🐾 Please offer food/water and shaded cool shelter if possible. Sadly, we never know how long they have been out on their own. Thank you again for your kindness in helping a lost pet 🐾💕

Can you contain if possible until owner is found. If so please ask for multiple forms of identification from any potential owner. There is a large dog fighting ring in the area. Thank you
