A kind and very smart person advised me that I should include description information about Namira at the end of my posts since finding older posts can be difficult. If you are gracious enough to look for her, I should make it as easy as possible for you to help. While I currently don't have many new leads that are more than weak maybe's, at best, I thought this post could be a refresher as to what I've done to try and find my girl, and a description of her. I'm going to put my phone number at the beginning here as well:

* June 10th ~230PM - Namira gets outside because I spooked her coming home from the pharmacy. I didn't see her run out, so didn't realize she was missing until 7PM shower time when she didn't come to supervise and make sure I don't drown in there. I destroy the apartment looking for her, since she likes to hide. That takes about an hour. I then begin to check the immediate area outside and find dusty paw prints on my neighbor's car that is parked about 20 feet from my door. I begin a determined and thorough search of the immediate area that lasts until about dawn.
*The next day, I search my immediate neighbors' yards. I report her lost to animal control, her chip company, and her vet. I call some friends, who help me figure out next steps. I research how to find her and take every measure discussed on lost pet articles. Litterbox, scent items, food, and water outside; fliers and handbills, get a good flashlight and some solid search gear to begin 3 times a night patrols/searches for her. Install a special door lock that keeps it lodged open 6 inches and install a security chain as backup. If a tip or trick to finding a lost pet has ever been mentioned online anywhere, I do it.
*Over the next few days, with help, I get 300+ fliers up, I am searching for her 3 times a night, and at dusk I am going door to door to ask to search yards. I post on social media platforms, Craigslist, and begin posting to the lost pet websites, and searching all of the databases and lost pet maps. I engage with HARTT to figure out anything and everything I should be doing and to utilize their resources of traps and cameras in my search.
*2.5 weeks in, I hire a tracking/search dog that indicates Namira has traveled South of my apartment on East Osborn, back into the Cheery Lynn neighborhood. The dog only "points" to a small radius; N-S: East Osborn to the alley between Flower and E. Mulberry; W-E: Randolph to 15th St. The dog does not hit on anything North of East Osborn, anything South of Flower, anything further West than Randolph or anything further East than 15th St. Soft hits on the Hospice of the Valley parking lot, which means she may have passed by there at some point but it hadn't been recently. Very strong hit on the alley between Flower and E. Mulberry, at a hole in the fence about 5-6 houses East from Randolph. The dog never postures for blood, meaning that Namira had not been injured at this point and was likely still alive. I understand this may not still be the case.
*Possible sightings at a home where the people feed strays has me camping outside, overnight for about 4 days trying to catch sight of the cat, but the cats I see turn out to not be her, or she didn't show back up. I'm tracking down every lead given, as I am physically able, and can get to the location. This brings us to today where I am still out looking at least once a night as I am physically able (I was hit by a truck 9 months ago and have some pretty intense damage to my back, left hip, left shoulder, and left leg. I'm also on dialysis 3x week.) and running down as many potential sightings as I can. I'm trying cameras and traps at strong maybe hits and direct observation at soft maybe hits.

DESCRIPTION:
*Namira is black, small and slim, about 10lbs, with a pointed, more angular face. She has more of a delicate build and her black fur doesn't have guard hairs so it is shiny and soft...but with her being gone so long, she could look different now.
*She has a white belly spot between her back legs that is almost impossible to see, but may be visible if she is sitting upright.
*Namira is micro chipped, but no collar as she won't tolerate one. The chip information is up to date.
*She is spayed but her ear is not clipped. My girl's ears are tall, narrow, and more triangular with little tufts at the tips, which is unusual for a short haired cat.
*Her meow is very quiet and high pitched. Her purr is not audible unless you are using her as a pillow.
*Namira is not a brave or friendly cat so it is HIGHLY unlikely she will either approach you, or let you approach her.
*Her name is pronounced Nah-meer-ah but I more often call her Tiny Baby.
***SHE IS VERY TIMID AND HIDES UNDER THINGS.***
