Sweet baby girl found walking up and down the middle of the road. Almost got hit by two cars before I stopped my car in the middle of the road to block more oncoming cars. 104° outside today and she was so hot… finally when I got her in my car with the a/c on her. She is very sweet but scared seems to be a bit older.

Please take to local vet to scan for microchip they do it for free, post fliers, post on Pawboost.com as found, ask animal control if anyone is looking for, ask for proof of ownership or find a valid rescue

Shelley MorrisonPhelps I couldn’t agree more ❤️ the moment I saw her in the middle of the road, I had to stop my car. I made other cars drive slowly around me then a gentleman stopped his car and got out to help me catch her. Sweet innocent angel, I’m so thankful she wasn’t hit 🙏🏻

Britt Glad all of mine are rescues some with similar stories Sometimes it takes “us” to be their angels Thank you!!! Water out in pails in the shade is helpful No one should ever dump a dog in this heat!!! I hope to assume lost but then I wonder why are they out to get lost

Shelley MorrisonPhelps yes I am going to call around tomorrow to shelters and everything else to see if anyone called in about a lost dog! Thank you so much for all of the helpful tips and tricks 🙏🏻 Also, on my way back home, same road, I spotted another bigger black dog… this area is known for people dumping dogs. I’m going to go back tomorrow and search for the bigger dog. I also, rescued another girl dog 6 months ago around the same area… 😬

Britt Glad thank you for helping her and getting her out of the heat A Dawn bath will help with fleas if you don’t have any other supplies An older person (possibly owner) may not have social media so chk the surrounding houses I’m hoping not dumped either - chk with shelter in your area I’m not sure on Commerce area If you can boil some rice add mushy wetted down dogfood or anything it will help her This heat can little older dogs like this quickly
