Possibly he got locked in someone's shed or garage this time of year people are in and out of them all the time and you know how curious cats are! Walk your neighborhood when it's quiet and not hot. Around Sunset is a good time work your neighborhood like a grid and call loudly for your kitty and then be silent and listen! If he's locked in a shed or garage his cry will be muffled but if he can hear you he will cry back! Take a flashlight if it's getting dark look under bushes decks heads of trees porches anywhere there's a little Nook they can crawl into they can get into some pretty small places. I've done this with several of my lost kitties who I found lock in a neighbor's garage or shed and one up a tree that couldn't get down. I called for them they cried back to me until I found them! Please be diligent about your search with this hot weather coming up was pretty hard on them without access to food and water. I wish you all the luck!
