I doubt that dog was dumped. It does not look skinny or neglected. I would post signs and make sure you get proof of ownership. Hopefully it has a microchip. Many people are not on social media, but I would think the first place someone would be looking for their dog would be the Shelter so you can register it online as well as found at your local shelter

Update I took him in today after work to get scanned for a microchip and nothing was detected unfortunately

He’s really cute. If you aren’t able to keep him then reach out to rescue. Do not take him to the shelter, they will euthanize
