Go out after dark and before Dawn and call quietly for your kitty who will likely be moving around at night. Flyer, neighbors, signs in your front yard and or window, at intersections as well. Borrow or buy a live trap. Live traps absolutely work, but you have to monitor them frequently. Please do not put any bedding in a live trap. Check the Humane Society daily.

No matter how long your kitty has been gone, stay vigilant with all lost cat protocols and advice - kitty may have been taken in by a well meaning person and could be very near - keep posters and flyers fresh and communications current with local animal control, vets, and rescues for new leads - keep the faith 💪🏼 Extra strength prayers your kitty is safe nearby (cats usually stay in the vicinity) and home very very soon - put their food and warm shelter outside your door in a protected area and/or in your garage - diligently canvas the area and local businesses with large colorful posters and flyers - contact local animal control, vets, and rescues for any possible leads - cross post on neighborhood/community FB pages for further reach - cats are superior survivalists - stay vigilant in searching and don’t lose hope 🙏🏻❤️💪🏼 P.s. Beware of scammers saying they have found your kitty and to message them your contact information. And also how an Instagram site helped them find their pet - don't click on site. All BS scammers. 🙏❤️💪🏼

Double and triple check in the home and yard. Cats can hide in the weirdest of places. Place anything that has a familiar scent on it outside along with smelly food. Check with your neighbors, cat may be stuck in a garage or shed. Check under decks and porches, check window wells and under vehicles. Look up, check trees and roofs. Get flyers and signs up. Notify animal control/shelters and vets in the area. If possible leave a porch or garage door open a little bit. Walk around the area at dusk, bring a flashlight and softly call for your cat. ‼️BEWARE OF SCAMMERS ‼️ CLAIMING THEY HAVE YOUR PET REQUESTING TEXT MESSAGES WITH CODES OR INSTAGRAM PET TRACKING SERVICES OR REQUESTING TO COMMUNICATE VIA MESSENGER OR BY TEXTING A CERTAIN PHONE NUMBER ‼️

Put soiled bedding water and food outside but bring it in at night otherwise it attracts wildlife. If it starts to rain maybe a large box laid on it sides makes a temp shelter. I hope your kitty gets home soon.
