Notify police and/or animal control that he is lost and in case somebody has called in a sighting.
Make a trail of smelly food leading from your house in all directions and put out an article of unwashed clothing.
Check with neighbors that have outdoor security cameras to see if he was seen and if so, what time, side of the road & direction he was going. You can post on the Ring app (Neighbors) even if you don’t have a Ring camera, just make a free account.
Check under bushes, outdoor furniture, both covered and uncovered and window wells.
Walk his normal walking path or go to places that you frequent with him to look for him.
If you have a dog that he is bonded with, bring that dog with as you search for him.
