As far as the M on her forehead, it’s not unique. Most tabbies have it. Tonight after 10 o’clock go out in your yard with a bag of kitty treats and your flashlight. Walk around calling your name and shaking the kitty treats bag. Look in the bushes for your cat. Please file a missing cat report with your city animal control. If your cat is chipped to make sure the registry has your contact information that is correct. Print flyers with your cats picture and your contact information and take them around to your neighbors. Ask your neighbors to call if your cat is seen. Visit the shelter in person several times a week to see if your cat has been brought in. Ask your neighbors when you take the flyers around if they’ve been in their shed or out building. We will go in the shed because it’s dark and seems safe and then the owner closes the door and they can’t get out. You cannot hear a cat crying to get out of a shame unless you’re standing right next to it.

I was at the Chesapeake animal shelter and there were lots of short haired tabby's with these color and markings. Worth stopping by. https://www.cityofchesapeake.net/789/Strays-in-Custody, There were way more in the back that are not listed on their site. at least 5 short hair tabby's being held
