Message from Owner

This cat has been my saving grace, he follows me everywhere and I can't even do yard work due to his absence in my yard. He showed up one day last year, around the time that our dog past, and Jibba, with his unique meow and gentle nature, got us through one of the most difficult times in our lives. No matter what we are going through, Jibba always manages to put a smile on our faces... He loves belly rubs. I'm sure that the people who may read this, will understand that a dog isn't a pet, it's family. Same with our feline friends. Jibba deserves love and belly rubs, please, if you know anything about his whereabouts, or of anything that may have happened to him, I ask that you please just let me know... I stay up all night looking, walking, listening... Something happened for him to not be here. He lives here. He accompanies my daughter and myself, anywhere we go. He sleeps in his here. He gets his food and treats, always waiting... I apologize for the length of this, but just please, if you know of anything, I'd rather know than not know, thank you for your time. God bless.

Helpful guidance: https://www.charlesriveralleycats.org/gethelp/lost and https://www.mspca.org/pet_resources/how-the-mspca-can-help-you-find-a-lost-pet/ Also, people on Nextdoor are often recommending Nadja, a volunteer from The Cat Connection, to help with the search

Most likely your cat is near by. These are steps you should follow.....1) Sprinkle lots of cat nip near the door he got out from and your yard.2) Leave an unlaundered Tshirt or article of clothing(someone mentioned socks) near the door. 3) Go outside and call him frequently or when possible....especially at night when there is less traffic noise. 4) Pass out flyers with his picture and your phone number on it, put in peoples mailbox's and talk to as many neighbors as possible (this is how I got my cat back, years ago). 5) go out in the evening around your neighborhood....look closely under bushes, porch steps etc.... using a FLASH LIGHT. Cats eyes will shine like reflectors when the light is used. 6) Put real TUNAFISH outside near your door. 7)Please do not put the litter box outside. It will attract predators like coyotes.8)Don't give up!
