Message from Owner

Hi neighbors, we are heartbroken and desperate for help. Our 8-year-old orange long-haired tabby, Archie, got out on Saturday night and hasn't made it back yet, we believe someone may have taken him in out of the cold without realizing his condition. Archie is an exclusively indoor and very friendly. Most importantly, he is medically fragile. He has severe asthma and a life-threatening kidney/urinary disease. CRITICAL CARE NEEDS: • He requires daily to breathe and keep his kidneys functioning. • He is on a strict -only diet. Eating standard cat food or missing his is a life-threatening emergency for him. Archie is more than just a pet; he is a trained therapy animal and a vital member of our family. Please reach out if you have any information on our sweet boy. If you don’t want to contact me directly he is microchipped and can be taken to any vet or shelter where they can scan his chip and contact me.

Does he have a microchip with your current contact information Hand out flyers door to door Check yours and neighbors sheds garages window wells under Go outside when it's quiet and call him and listen for him to answer. Leave a way for him to get back in the house Check your local animal shelter

You must have left your door or window open for yur cat to escape. Is he microchipped or wearing a collar with an ID tag? For a cat who has not been used to being outdoors in your neighborhood, you need to get a cat trap from animal control and set it out by yur home. Your cat is going to be hiding close to your home. You also need to hand out flyers within a half-mile radius of your home to as many homes as possible. I also hope your cat is neutered becasue if he isn't, that will make hime roam a lot further away and become permanently lost and won't ever see him again.

Go out late at night and early morning with wet food and sit. Check sheds and garages. Put bedding outside.
