Update 2: There is a young lady that met me out in the field when we rescued this poor girl and she has been very diligent about keeping up with how the treatment for her is coming and where she will end up. Here is her update to me as of a few minutes ago. “I just got off the phone with Fresno Humane. So she was treated immediately by 24/7. They amputated her leg before they picked up. Because she is so sweet they immediately began networking for her and found placement. Which is why the rescue that I had try and tag her yesterday was paused. They can’t disclose rescue info but she did say she is going to a great local reputable rescue. I had them forward my info as potential adopted when she is healed up.“

We also had her scanned and nothing came up. She’s been very well cared for so she must have an owner.

Update: we went to see if the dog was still there and we found her under the bushes posted. We noticed whens got up to run away that she was badly injured and had one back leg just hanging so we think she broke it somehow. While rescuing her we met a kady that wants to foster her after she gets treatment. We drove her to 24/7 Pet Hoppital on Fresno st and McKinley. We surrendered her there and they said they will treat her and she will go to Fresno Animal Center probably on Thursday. The lady at the desk told me they usually only euthanize if they can’t save the animal.

Any vet's office in PetSmart will scan for a microchip and no charge and please file a found Report with the local shelters in case someone's looking for this beautiful dog you found
