Poor baby! She must have been desperate for help! Thank you for your kindness to help her! If you were in a neighborhood when she jumped in, she probably lives nearby and wandered away from her yard, not knowing how to get home! If you were in a parking lot of a shopping or business area, she may have escaped from a vehicle while her owner was inside the business or store. Here are some tips to help her find her owner. - If there’s a neighborhood Facebook page or even an area Facebook page where the pup was found, post on there right away to reach the people who live in that area. - Put up FOUND DOG flyers all around the neighborhood or business area where pup was found with its picture and your contact info. - If there are adjacent neighborhoods or homes nearby, close enough where the pup could have wandered over, that would also be a good area to put up your flyers. - Email a copy of your FOUND DOG flyer to animal control to hang in their lobby in case the owner goes there looking for their pup. - Take pup to be scanned for a microchip. Any Veterinarian will do it for free, and if this baby is chipped, it can help track down the owner. Praying you’ll be able to find this little one’s owner real soon!
