We last saw her around midnight or so on the 17th and then at 5am she showed up but we unexpectedly spooked her and she ran off again. The last place we saw her was at our home and we’ve been outside since going all around looking for her.

Message from Owner

She is the most sweetest and loving cat and has been apart of this family for so so long. She has a sister who is also so sad without her sister. If anybody sees her please let us know asap she is very well missed. My little sister is also very heartbroken If you say her name a few times and get down to her level and put your hand out and make the little kissy noises she will most likely come to you. If anyone is willing to catch her if they see her. She’s a sucker for strings and things like that. But just please keep and eye out and let us know! We will not stop looking until we find our baby

Most lost cats come home/ are found between midnight-5 am so that’s a good time to look. Door to door with flyers in the area and flyers with nearby vets and shelters really helps. If sighted, It’s better not to chase, lost cats are even more skittish and spooked outside and will even run from their owners. If possible, it’s better to sit at ground level and talk in a normal voice, which will bring them closer to you. Even better, bring some food, smellier the better - tuna, shrimp, rotisserie chicken. If you can safely leave a door or window cracked open specially at night, the cat might walk back in. They can get locked by mistake in sheds garages and basements, ask neighbors to check and if they can leave doors open for a while. A frightened cat in hiding probably won’t come out when people are around.

My guy that looks exactly the same was gone for two weeks. We were losing hope. He randomly wandered back home yelling at us. Put her litter and blankets and anything else she loves outside.

Try setting live trap, baited with her food, outside of your home. We were successful in securing our boy, within a couple hours, of setting a live trap on our front porch. He'd already been out for more than 2 days, with no sightings, by the time I thought about using the trap. Turns out he must have been hiding very close, but afraid to come out. He had to have been very hungry and the food lured him. I hope you get your girl back very soon.
