Description

Silver tabby, striking markings, blue eyes, 8.1 lbs. Escaped at Booker T Washington and ran down the Moody Performance Hall building towards Ross Ave. I have flyers everywhere and people in the area on high alert. I have been desperately searching every late night and early mornings for her. I would love for even just a sighting! And if someone catches her at least attempts to see if anyone is looking for her! 💔🥺🤞🏻 I feel utterly reckless and shattered that shes out there naked and afraid and being assaulted by male cats 😩😩😭😭 I want my bebe back!

Message from Owner

LOST CAT – DOWNTOWN / ARTS DISTRICT / DEEP ELLUM / – PLEASE HELP I’m asking for the kindness of anyone in or around Downtown / Deep Ellum / One Arts / Booker T. Park. I recently found this little girl kitten in Mesquite. We searched everywhere for her owner and never found them — and I fell completely in love. She was scheduled to be spayed and microchipped 2/13/26. On Saturday 2/7/26 near One Arts Plaza / Booker T. Park, she was wearing a harness with an AirTag when something spooked her. She flipped out of it and ran toward the Moody Building / Ross & Routh area. I lost sight of her. She is: • ~9 months old • ~8 lbs • Silver tabby with striking markings • Blue eyes She is skittish but gentle and very smart. She is not used to being outside and is likely hiding nearby. PLEASE — if you see her, do NOT chase. Call or text me immediately. I will come any time, day or night. Thank you for helping bring her . 💔🐾

I live in Lakewood so not really close enough for her to find her way back. I have put up about 60 flyers around the area. Basically the entire Moody security and multiple employees are on high alert. Booker T employees and kids where she escaped out of the collar/harness w an AirTag are on alert. But then she booked across the street to Moody and ran down the side of building towards Ross and then lost sight of her. I would have thought that she would have run down to the parking garage to the left but searched entire thing on my hands and knees w flashlight. 2/7 & 12:30 - Spent over 11 hours searching for her that first day. Ran into a leasing agent for The Arts apartment and she did an email blast once I went home and made flyer and sent to her. Ive passed flyers out to people that live in the area and even a couple homeless to keep their eyes out. I’ve gone down to multiple garages in the area and have spoken w attendants and posted flyers down there in case someone notices her under a car or something. I have given her flyer to a motorcycle cop whose beat is that area to also lookout. I have been waking up every day at 3:30 am to go out and look for her and then going back around 11. I bought and set traps Thursday after work hoping to get lucky and catch her. 1 is in shrubs along wall line of Booker T and at the end of the Moody Building where I last saw her and one is at Dunlap Swain across the street. I have left sent markers, her dirty litter & pieces of my dirty clothes and blankets around the area and in the traps with stinky tuna. Unfortunately with the heavy rains over weekend those have all washed away. I’m out of her litter and currently trying to make more dirty stinky clothes to lay around. I am still hopeful. I am not giving up. She’s on Nextdoor, Ring, PetcoLove and Pawboost I am doing everything I can to bring her home. Unfortunately her vet appointment to get spayed, chipped and finish 2 rounds of some vaccines was yesterday. 😩😭 Where there’s a Willow…there’s a way! I need a confirmed sighting is my best way to begin to really find her as gives me a starting location to leave markers, food and trap.

Leave some of your laundry outside your home to help him find his way home by scent. Also leave a door, lower window, garage door cracked open enough for him to find a way back into the home. They normally try to get back inside the same way they got out. If he is scared, he may be moving at night when it is quieter and looking for a way back inside. Hope this helps 🙏

TIPS TO HELP FIND LOST PET:✅Place his/her bedding, your shoes, a piece of your unwashed clothing (such as a sweatshirt, blanket, pillowcases) and food/water outside *if there is coyotes in the area bring the food in at night*.🚫Do not put litter box outside. Putting the litter box outside can attract predators and other cats which might keep your cat from returning home🚫*Putting out the other items listed above, are scents only your cat will recognize* ‼️ They might be nearby and can’t figure out how to get inside ***IF you have a garage or door/sliding door that can be left open*** Leave the garage/ or door cracked for them and place the shoes, bedding, jand unwashed clothing in the garage‼️ ✅Walk around the area calling them calmly early morning and late evening when it’s quiet & shake a bag of treats or a squeaky toy, something they would recognize. ✅If he/she is microchipped contact the microchip company to report him/her lost and make sure your contact info is up to date. ✅Hang flyers (use a bright color board or paper) with picture in your neighborhood, surrounding areas, local shopping centers, businesses, vet's offices, groomers, etc. within a five mile radius from your home. ✅Go door to door with the flyers as well and try to speak with people when handing out flyers. ✅Make a sign with his/her picture and put it in your front yard stating he/she is missing. ✅File a lost report with the shelters in your area and surrounding area shelters ✅Check shelters in person, daily if possible. Ask to see the animals in isolation too. ✅Check shelter websites daily (as it is updated hourly) ✅Check shelter found reports for found postings but not at the shelter. ✅Take a flyer to the shelters. ✅File online with petharbor, pawboost ✅Post on area lost and found pet and community Facebook pages, area shelter Facebook pages, newspapers, nextdoor and Craigslist under "pets" and "Lost and Found". Cats usually are close to home. Hang clothes with your scent out. Ask your neighbors if they would look in their yard or garage or storage sheds to see if he is there or check their Ring camera to see if he was spotted on camera. Make sure you post fliers with your contact information on it so if he is spotted they can call you and tell his location. Keep an access point open for him to slip back in your home. Look in bushes or hiding spots around your home as if he is scared he will make himself safe by finding a hiding spot. Sometimes the best time to find your cat is when the noise level is low - after hours - or early morning hours. Take a flashlight and shine and look for the eyes under cars up trees in bushes. Good luck!
