Wonderful news

Update: Thank you to anyone who commented and showed care. This baby is now in good hands with the Downey Animal Care Center. I do not live in the area where I found the dog. I waited and carried the dog around the entire neighborhood to see and asked if anyone was missing him or if he ran out from somewhere, but no one claimed him. I gave him some water in a little white tray that you can see in the back of him in the photo and some cat food which is all I had in the car with me. Once an hour passed and I was still in hold with the shelter, I told him “baby no one is coming for you here. Let’s go,” he instinctively followed me and jumped in the front seat of my car. I believe he was dumped in the place I’ve found him and was waiting for his owners. The shelter was very kind to both me and the baby and stated he will be adopted very quickly. Rest assure, he is in good hands. Thank you again everyone.

Thank you! Vets, pet stores will scan for a microchip for free. Notify shelters. Get proof of ownership. Call rescues if unable to hold. So did you give him water, food? Bring him inside out of the heat temporarily?
