Karen Schaler she knows. She just doesn't gaf that it's bad advice. Please, report her, every time you see that vile suggestion coming from her.

Whatever you do to attract your cat back home to safety, DO NOT place any used litter outside!! It is a dangerous thing for vile monsters to continue to recommend. It is more likely to attract predators and rival cats, than to guide your baby back home.

Patrice Everhart that’s confirmation bias, not proof that dirty litter works. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Cats navigate using dozens of familiar scents already in their territory: their own urine markings, rubbing spots, etc. For an indoor cat that got outside, the most effective lures are familiar food smells and clothing with their human’s scent on it, because that’s what they know and feel safe with. Dirty litter, on the other hand, primarily attracts ferals and other wildlife , the last thing you want near a frightened indoor cat who has never been outside. Every legitimate missing pet organization advises against putting out dirty litter. But some people repeat this myth anyway, then point to confirmation bias when their cat happens to come home.

Patrice Everhart no litter. It’s an absolute myth that putting litter at will attract the cat. What it does is attract feral cats and other outside critters who could then chase away her scared kitty. Do not tell people to spread dirty litter out because it does the complete opposite.

Karen Sanders absolutely NO litter. You’ve been advised of this before yet keep spreading the same misinformation.
