Description

She loves pennies for some reason. Doesn't eat em just likes to fetch em. She also loves water bottles with just enough water in em that you can throw them and she can fetch them.

Message from Owner

She was posted on your site already by a guy on Thursday. I contacted him and he said an employee was going to watch her and help her get back to her owner. Then the manger supposedly called the cops to have the little dog picked up. Her owner is Shane Kelley. I'm his brother. He lost his phone while I was helping him. I am not in Nola but he is and I do have a number I can call to get word to him.

Randy Kelley Lunchbox is at the LASPCA at 1700 Mardi Gras Boulevard, call them at 504-762-3319 or email lostandfound@nohlr.org He's microchipped and registered to Shane and they're been trying to contact him at the phone number/email registered to the chip.

After reading the message I got for the 4th time, I have two pieces of info to clarify. The guy that originally found and posted about Lunchbox Thursday said the store he found her in was called Rouses. I don't know the area but that is what I was calling the grocery store. (It may be a grocery store.) 2nd, he said the police station was located on Royal street. Shane Kelley, my brother and the owner of LB, said he checked with the police and they just brushed him off and said they didn't know anything about it. Again I am speaking for my brother until he can get his phone back or a new one. I'm in Arkanslaw trying to help him find his dog while he is in the area with few ways to communicate. He checks in with a friend from time to time and I have her number. All complicated (as always) but we are doing what we can especially on a Sunday when everything is closed. I've heard that dogs are put down after a few days because of the lost pet population in NOLA... a reputation I can't imagine any town or city would want to be known for. I hate to think of anyone putting her down for that reason.
