I live in Sleepy Hollow on the river. I had a grey striped cat in my yard yesterday and today. May be your guy.

My son’s cat goes under his dresser and then crawls up inside his drawer….so open drawers….open closed closet doors etc…they sneak in there when we are not aware Here are more tips: Coyotes are out in full swing as this is mating season Kitty is scared too…look under all bushes and neighbors….at least 5-6 houses down each way Check garages, sheds, bushes…let neighbors know… They go into Fight or Flight mode…so they won’t even know their names when called Put out UNWASHED clothing of yours, and something UNWASHED of kitty’s, so she can pick up your scent They come out at dusk Shake her treat bag and softly call her Put out stinky food…sardines, tuna…heat it up to release smells and if it sets there awhile, reheat it Pray you find your baby🙏 Pass out flyers with kitty’s picture and info Put a sign in front yard, with pic and info and saying LOST KITTY LIVES HERE!!

Gil looks like a lovebug. He's probably scared and hiding/seeking shelter nearby. Keep checking under nearby porches, decks, shrubs and in garages and sheds. Best times to search and call for him are at dusk and dawn. Starting now and each day in late afternoon/early evening until he's home, put canned tuna/fishy canned cat food outside your door and watch for him. The fishy food is important because they can smell it from farther away and hopefully he will come back around from wherever he's hiding. It's how I got my fearful cat to come back when he was lost. Also put water and something with his scent on it outside your door to help him find his way back. Let your neighbors and mail carrier know that he's missing so they can be on the lookout for him. Put flyers up in the area. Let whoever is in charge at Plummers Pool know that he's lost so they can watch for him and ask them to put a flyer up. Post on Sylvania/Toledo Lost and Found Pet page and Toledo and Surrounding Area Lost and Found Pet page to get the word out. Sending prayers for sweet Gil to be safe and found quickly.
