Message from Owner

My beloved cat, Maggie, is missing, and our hearts are broken. Maggie is 12 years old, an indoor cat who rarely ventures outside. She isn't just a pet, she's the heart of our home and a cherished member of our family. Every corner of our hse reminds us of her, and it feels incomplete without her there. We are desperately hoping someone has seen her or may have taken her in thinking she was lost. If you live nearby, please check your garages, sheds, porches, crawl spaces, and anywhere a frightened cat might hide. Indoor cats who get outside often stay very close to home and hide silently out of fear. Maggie, if somehow our words could reach you, please know we love you, miss you, and are waiting for you to come home. If you have any information or have seen Maggie, please contact us right away. Every sighting matters. Please help us bring our sweet Maggie home

Go out at night or before dawn and call. Cats are nocturnal and come out at night. Get those clothes, bedding, blankets, etc outside all around. Get kitty chipped. Call shelter and take a big laminated photo to them and put them up on telephone poles. Don’t give up. Reward.

ALMOST ALWAYS CATS ARE VERY VERY CLOSE. THEY FREAK AND WONT COME. PUT OUT BLANKET OR CLOTHES WITH YOUR SMELL. NO FOOD AS IT ATTRACTS STRAYS. TALK TO KIDS AND PEOPLE WALKING IN NEIGHBORHOOD. FLYERS WITH BIG GOOD PHOTO. REWARD. KEEP LOOKING. VERY CLOSE. IT CAN TAKE TWO THREE WEEKS OR LONGER. KEEP LOOKING CLOSE....CALL ANIMAL CONTROL EVERY DAY AND TAKE A BIG GOOD PHOTO TO THEM. DO NOT GIVE UP. PUT AD IN PAPER. KEEP TALKING TO PEOPLE IN NEIGHBORHOOD. Go out at night as cats are nocturnal and call softly. Use flashlight as it can show cats eyes. Get those clothes out for smell. Talk to everyone in neighborhood to check garages, sheds, etc.

Put her litter box out. Go out with a flashlight calling her name and checking bushes, trees, under cars at night and early morning hours. Hang or place some family bedding or clothing out so that the breeze/wind can carry the scent and hopefully lead her home. Check with Animal Control often in person in case someone turns her in. Take them a pic to post. Post fliers and on Next Door App. Good luck.
