If he’s eight month old and not neutered, he’ll be out looking for a mate. Best to go out at 2 AM with a flashlight in a bag of treats looking for him.

So sorry your cat is missing. Our cat was in Morgan Creek neighborhood during the heat dome a couple years ago, He was just Down about 6 houses, he apparently was Chasing a mouse and fell into a window well in a quiet side of the house He was missing for 3 days And we had looked everywhere and put up notices Just as I was about to tell my husband, who had been gone for the weekend, the cat ran in to the house, meowing and so upset People called and said that their grandchildren were playing in their front yard and their ball was kicked on an isolated side of the house They went down to find it and sure enough “Billycat” Was trapped in their window well They never go play on that side of their house and when they opened the interior of the window, a mouse jumped out, as did Billycat They tried to catch him but he beelined it home Very insulted and annoyed he was! From the “Lost” posters we had posted on community mailboxes the neighbours called us to explain what happened! So, check with your neighbours and their window wells. (Very common in Morgan Creek) We are so grateful to our neighbours and perhaps you could post “Lost Cat”note on the community mailboxes to ask people to check their window wells Good luck! Billycat and his “peeples” Hope your cat comes home! Gordon and Laurie and Billy cat
