🚨 LOST CAT in Fort Lauderdale FL 33313 🚨 Our indoor cat escaped and we are desperate to find her. She is likely terrified and hiding very close to home. 🐾 NAME: Muñeca 🐾 BREED/COLOR: Gray tabby with ghost stripes 🐈‍⬛ with RED collar on 🐾 SIZE/: Small, Female around 5/6 months 🐾 LAST SEEN: Around 8:35pm last night 06/09/26 near NW 24th Ave and NW 26th Ave (Rock Island neighborhood) ⚠️ NEIGHBORS: Please check your security cameras/Ring doorbells for any sightings. If you live nearby, please briefly check your open garages, under your porches, or inside low bushes. She is likely frozen, scared and silent 😞 PLEASE DO NOT YELL if you see her, as she will run. She responds better when calm. Please take a photo if possible and call or text me immediately! THANK YOUUUU ❣️

Please go out at night with a flashlight and look under bushes, in trees, yards and neighbors garages. She may be trapped in someone’s garage or shed. Ask your neighbors to check their cameras. Also put up trail cameras all over your yard. If you see her and she is too scared to come to you, you may need to get a humane trap and put in food and/or clothes you wore for her to get your scent, but never leave the trap unattended! Shake her dry food while gently calling her name. Indoor cats usually stay close to home, hide and come out at night. Create a color poster and put one on your door and go door to door with the posters to your neighbors. Call, go on their website and visit Broward County Animal Care every day. Take a piece of clothing you wore, drag it all over your yard leading to your door. She might catch the scent of it. Post about your cat on the Nextdoor app too. I hope these tips help you find Muneca! 😻

If that is your dog in the photo, see if the pup can lead you to her.

Post on NextDoor and neighbors.ring, hang bilingual flyers, and put out articles of unwashed clothing and the pet’s bed. Ask neighbors to check their Ring cameras, garages, and sheds. Check shelters in person. If not already done, have your pet microchipped as soon as you’re reunited. If already chipped, call the microchip company to report pet lost and make sure your contact information is correct. Report lost on 24petconnect. If someone posts “We found” and asks for your phone number, don’t respond; it’s a scam. Same if they want to send you a code. Beware of sites people recommend that find lost pets; many are scammers
