MESSAGE FROM OWNER

My baby was being watched by my friends mother at the hotel I was paying for, unfortunately I had some medical issues and was in the hosp for a couple days and I wasn’t able to call or inform my friends mom or the hotel of where I was. Unfortunately I have no information other than my friends mother left pretty girl in the hotel room alone with my belongings and has since April 8th been missing herself. I have no information on weather pretty girl is, if she was left in the room, or if someone from the hotel took her , and I’ve checked spca, but I’m not really aware of another olace to check. Any suggestions would be appreciated an you can call or text me at or write mme on Facebook @‘Megan Millet

DESCRIPTION

She is all white with a few light brown/brindle spots, one specifically on her but looks a mushroom, she has dark brown markings on her eye lids, she’s a little smaller than most, she’s friendly, but probably afraid. Shes the sweetest smartest girl, she probably had on an aqua/light bluish-greenish collar, she’s not even an entire year old yet, she’s not fixed. Please help me find her!

Beware of people who will tell you they found your dog, but you have to message them on FB or text a code to a certain phone number. These are the scams. A person who truly found your dog will not put conditions on you except maybe to show them proof of ownership, like pictures. Also, people will tell you how they used a recovery/search agency to find their pet. Also, a scam to take your money. Most of those services are not even in the TriState. Exception is, Reaves Recovery and Rescue which is here in Cincinnati area, but does charge a fee since it is a business. There is also Lost Pet Recovery out of Columbus with volunteers here in TriState. Notify your area police depts through their nonemergency number that you lost your dog. You can make a lost dog report at your local animal shelter or Cincinnati Animal CARE. Check in person at least every other day because they are very busy. Stray hold is only 3 days before can be adopted out. Put up brightly colored posters on poles around the area. You can have them laminated at office supply store or cover them in clear packaging tape. One poster board can be made into 2 signs. Hope you find your dog!

Hang some of your unwashed clothes out so the dog can pick up your scent. If you haven’t already, call police depts. in your area, Cincinnati Animal CARE, other local shelters and vets, with a description of your dog. Some PDs are very helpful about taking info on lost/found pets. Make up large, easily read flyers and post them in your neighborhood. Post a lost ad on nextdoor.com. Visit the local shelters or humane society every couple of days IN PERSON, don't just call. They have so many dogs that it’s easy to overlook one. Good luck!
