This poor puppy showed up in my front yard this morning and wouldn't leave I don't know where he came from but we brought him in because it's going to storm tonight but we have a big dog and we can't keep him here please help this pet get back to its owner

I have it currently he literally just walked in my house about 15 mins ago when I taking trash out

Local vet office including emergency vet can free scan for a microchip. If someone tries to claim, please ask for proof of ownership (description of the collar pet was found wearing, unique markings, of the pet). Post on Nextdoor app, Ring app, neighborhood Facebook groups, lost pet groups, and check/create a PawBoost alert. Hang FOUND signs around the area in ziplock bags (zip on the bottom) to protect from rain.
