Yumi is a 5 year old female shiba inu. She is considered a dirty red shiba. She has a curly tail. Her fur color is mostly reddish brown, with overlay of black-tipped hairs (guard hairs) interspersed throughout the body. She is people friendly but aloof and guarded and won’t let you pick her up. Any information on sightings will help tremendously.

Christina Ferrigno Thank you for your message. I have posted flyers around and also went to the shelter. They said that since Yumi is microchipped, shelters will scan and call if she ends up there. I have handed out flyers to people walking on the sidewalks too. Thank you for your support 🙏🏼

You have likely done this already but if not, please post flyers in the area where Yumi went missing, and knock on doors. Not everyone is on social media. You might also ask folks to check their security monitors... Might capture something useful in the footage. Also remember to check the Pawboost FOUND listings, and with local animal shelters. And phone to ask their current protocols. I have heard that visiting in person to review their intake logs is the best way to get accurate information. I hope to read a positive update soon.
